Fairway Show report

Trade visitors came from 23 countries to attend this year’s Munich show

The seventh annual Fairway show consolidated its position as the key trade fair for the golf course sector in continental Europe. The organisers were particularly pleased by the increase in international visitors to the Munich show. Twenty three countries were represented and there were particularly significant increases in the number of visitors from Austria, Italy and the Czech Republic.

Guest of honour at Fairway 2001 was Sir Michael Bonallack who spoke at the Golf Course Congress. He was impressed by the comprehensive range of both the Congress and the Exhibition. “Anyone involved in the planning, construction and maintenance of golf courses cannot afford to miss this event,” said Sir Michael.

Fairway 2002 will be held in the MOC from 28th February to 1st March 2002.
