European Golf Business Conference programme complete

The 3rd European Golf Business Conference will take place on 5-7 November 2008 in Berlin, and last year’s attendance of 230 delegates is expected to be surpassed.

The conference, entitled The Big Change, take place at the Hilton Berlin Hotel and will see the top business minds in European and international golf come together to debate the demand side of golf changing rapidly. The number of players is still growing each year. But are the new golfers the same golfers? Are their needs the same as our existing golfers?

In addition to the programme of expert speakers already announced, which can be viewed at www.egcoa.eu/conference2008, there will also be an opportunity for delegates to step up on stage to share thoughts and present new ideas.

Ideas on stage – the best one wins a prize!
Golf course owners will be invited to give an account of their best ideas of the year: the ones you can take home and implement! All delegates are welcome on stage to share their ideas. The best idea will be voted “idea of the year”.

Speed ‘dating‘
Meeting people and networking is an important reason for visiting conferences. To improve networking opportunities the organisers will arrange speed dating for delegates; allowing each person to spend a few minutes talking one-on-one with many different delegates – an
