EIGCA Goes Big At BTME

EIGCA will be out in force at BTME in 2020 with a stand in the Exhibition and several members taking part in the Continue to Learn education programme.

After a break of over 10 years, EIGCA is back with an exhibition stand at BTME in Harrogate 21-23 January 2020.

Continuing the Institute’s quest to spread awareness of the skills and capabilities of golf course architects and the role they have in safeguarding the future of golf, two members (Caspar Grauballe and Marc Westenborg) are presenting a one-day workshop on Sunday 19th January on the subject of ‘Renovating your golf course’. Jim Croxton, BIGGA Chief Executive Officer, told GBN, “I am thrilled that the EIGCA is taking a stand at BTME. Architects are an important part of the industry and this will provide a focal point for them and helps to demonstrate that BTME is a must-visit event for all those involved in golf course management and maintenance.

“We are also delighted that through our valued partnership with the EIGCA so many highly-qualified EIGCA members are taking an active part in our Continue to Learn programme ensuring our members fully understand the course management implications of course design and renovation.”
