Easier ways to visit IOG SALTEX

7.30am 18th June 2008 - Exhibitions & Conferences

In addition to a host of special feature and demonstration areas that add value to the time spent by visitors at the IOG SALTEX open space management show (2nd -4th September, Windsor Racecourse), this year’s introduction of one-day extended opening hours and a ‘round the show’ Roadtrain service are also designed to make the visitor experience a pleasurable one.

In the same way that the free Riverboat ferry service between the showground and Windsor town centre was instigated in response to visitor requests, both the late night opening – until 7 pm on Wednesday September 3 – and the free Roadtrain service will enable visitors to make the most of their time at the event. In addition, the Roadtrain will save some legwork at the expansive showground with over 400 exhibitors!

Capable of carrying around 40 passengers, the eco-gas powered Roadtrain will run continuously throughout the three-day show, making frequent stops around the showground, enabling visitors to ‘hop on and off’ at designated stops.

IOG SALTEX 2008 will be held on 2-4 September at Windsor Racecourse, Berks, and will embrace fine turf and sports surfaces, turf maintenance equipment, children’s outdoor play and safety surfacing, landscaping, contractors, commercial vehicles, outdoor leisure and facilities management, as well as software and security equipment. The show is attended by open space management professionals and contractors – from groundsmen and greenkeepers through to play officers, architects, designers and surveyors as well as local authority and outdoor leisure facility managers.
