PGA Professionals visiting The Golf Show in Harrogate next month will have the opportunity to challenge and debate with some of the trade’s leading figures in a special Golf Industry Panel.
High profile panellists include Sandy Jones, PGA Chief Executive; Ben Sharpe, TaylorMade-adidas Golf Europe Managing Director; founder of Direct Golf, John Andrew and Paul Hedges, Chief Executive of Foremost Golf.
The Golf Industry Panel will be staged on the first day of the show – held at the Harrogate International Centre from Tuesday, 9 October to Thursday, 10 October – from 4.30 to 5.30pm.
TGI Golf Partnership Managing Director Eddie Reid will chair the panel and delegates are invited to ask questions of the four figureheads to encourage a frank and interesting discussion about every aspect of the golf industry.
Following the same format as the famous BBC television programme Question Time, delegates must first submit their questions to the panel in advance, and, if their question is selected ensure they are in the audience to ask it.
David Colclough, PGA Head of Member Education, said: “We have four individuals on the panel who are either PGA Pros themselves or who work alongside Pros every day and can give their views on a wide range of subjects from a variety of perspectives – whether it’s internet retailing, marketing support or the future of the golf industry.”
Sandy Jones, added: “One of the strengths of The Golf Show is its ability to bring together different elements of the golf industry under one roof. The panel assembled for the Golf Industry discussion reflects that and it is a marvellous opportunity for PGA professionals and delegates to attend, ask questions and debate some of the issues facing the industry. I am looking forward to seeing many of our members at Harrogate and I hope they will find the time to ask questions and attend this panel session.”
PGA Professionals who wish to ask a question to the Golf Industry Panel should send their proposed question to matt@landmark-media.com.
