Clarke to attend NEC show

7.49am 3rd November 2008 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Ryder Cup legend Darren Clarke will join thousands of golfers at the NEC Golf Show when he visits the golfing extravaganza on 21st November. The Northern Irishman has enjoyed an impressive return to form this year and will be taking time out from his busy playing schedule to look around the show and speak to fans.

Clarke will be representing TaylorMade at the show and will be signing autographs and posing for photos alongside the European tour truck. As well as meeting and chatting to fans, the 40-year-old will also be interviewed on the show’s stage.

Andy Barwell, the Golf Show Group’s marketing director, said, “Darren Clarke is one of the most popular professional golfers in Britain and his presence will create a real buzz around the show.

“It’s fantastic for us to have him at the event and gives our visitors a great opportunity to meet an iconic golfer. His recent wins show that he’s back to his best and we’re delighted he’s able to take time out to visit the show.”

The NEC Golf Show runs from 21-23 November.
