Awards in six product categories at Golf Europe 2008

8.29am 23rd July 2008 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Following a successful introduction last year, GOLF EUROPE will again honour innovative product developments in the categories: clubs, apparel, footwear, and accessories, as well as caddies and training tools.

Selection criteria include functional aspects as well as design, level of innovation, and user friendliness. In order to guarantee a high degree of innovation for this product competition, entry is open exclusively to products scheduled for market introduction in 2009, and considered up- and coming highlights or true innovations. A high-calibre jury consisting of independent industry and retail experts as well as leading representatives of the media will judge the product entries.

“Due to the very positive response to last year’s GOLF EUROPE Product Awards we decided to continue this product competition at the GOLF EUROPE 2008. We created the GOLF EUROPE Product Awards to honour companies whose efforts in product development drive golf onward and set new standards affecting the entire industry,” explains Armin Wittmann, Project Manager GOLF EUROPE. “In addition, the Product Awards offer the winners an excellent opportunity for highly visible exposure to retail, and staying a step ahead of the competition”

The entry forms “Product Awards” for interested exhibitors will be available in a few days at www.golf-europe.com The deadline for entries is 23rd September, 2008.

The award ceremony will be held on October 5th, 2008, during the GOLF EUROPE 2008, at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. The winning products will be presented in a specially designated exhibition area.
