Argentario set to showcase renovated resort at IGTM in Rome

11.48am 5th September 2022 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Tuscany’s Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort, home to the PGA National Italy, will be exhibiting at this year’s IGTM in Rome alongside fellow PGA National Properties.

Located on the Monte Argentario promontory in the Maremma region of south west Tuscany just 90 minutes from Rome, Argentario is looking forward to meeting with golf travel operators at the exhibition to talk about its recent name change, its improved practice facilities and its ideal location for anyone attending next year’s Ryder Cup or planning a trip to the golf course before or after the matches.

Recognised as one of Italy’s most luxurious golf properties, the resort was rebranded earlier in the year to the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort to reflect more accurately the importance the Resort places on the wellbeing, both mental and physical, of its guests.

Meanwhile as part of The PGA Branded Properties elite group of iconic golf properties, Argentario is keen to showcase its excellent PGA National Golf Course, Trackman equipped practice facilities and club fitting services.

In addition, for any tour operators offering Ryder Cup packages or golf tours to the Marco Simone Golf Club, host of the Ryder Cup matches in September 29 to October 1, 2023, the resort is a great base from which to play the Marco Simone layout and a number of other courses in the region as well of course, the PGA National Italy championship course at Argentario

Ottavio Coppola, Golf Manager at the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort, who will be representing the property at IGTM, said: “With Italy as the host of this year’s IGTM in Rome, we will be proudly representing our country as well as our wonderful golfing destination. On the PGA Branded Properties stand, we will be in the company of a collection of exceptional PGA National resorts that will no doubt attract a great deal of interest from the golf travel professionals attending the expo which is an annual highlight for golf travel trade.

“We look forward to speaking to as many attendees as possible and informing them about our exceptional Resort with its wonderful golf course and on-site services and facilities which are the perfect combination of ingredients for an enjoyable, relaxing and memorable golf holiday in Tuscany.”

Argentario will be exhibiting alongside the PGA Nationals of Cyprus (Aphrodite Hills), Czech Republic (The Oaks), England (The Belfry), Ireland (Slieve Russell), Poland (Modry Las), Scotland (Gleneagles) and Turkey (Antalya), as well as additional PGA Branded Properties Carden Park Resort and Vipingo Ridge on the PGA Branded Properties stand.
