Apparel Show boosted by new features

8.10am 19th April 2006 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Premiere Golf Apparel will benefit from a number of developments and improvements for 2006 designed to heighten the value of the event both to buyers and sellers. The event takes place once again at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith on 1-2 August; a peak time for showing Spring/Summer 07 collections to the golf retail trade.
Exhibitor bookings are well advanced on the same period last year and it is likely that the event will be sold out for the second consecutive year.
The changes to the format are set to improve the event, expose the exciting fashion show elements to more buyers and provide greater networking opportunities for VIPs, buyers and industry professionals.
A press and intense direct mail campaign to apparel buyers will commence after Easter to ensure the event is a truly high-class showcase for the golf apparel industry.
A key difference for this year is that the fashion show will be split into three parts and run during the day. The whole program will be repeated on the second day resulting in far greater exposure to buyers. Development of the VIP programme, increased event marketing and mailings as well as further development of the seminar programme, complete the package of improvements.
Instead of the dinner on the first night of the event, this year will see the introduction of an ‘Apparel Industry Party’. This will be open to a greater number of buyers and allow the industry to have a less formal get together than the dinner. A ‘show’ element will be included to keep the focus on the highly innovative and fashionable golf apparel market.
At the time of writing, key industry brands such as adidas, Ashworth, Callaway Golf Apparel, Greg Norman Collection and Pringle are already signed up along with a number of new and growing brands such including Cross, Farah, Zero Restriction and others.
