american golf partners with NEC Show

8.09am 1st July 2008 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Following last year’s successful launch the NEC Golf Show will return from 21-23 November with american golf as its retail partner.

The show’s popularity has led to organisers increasing its size – to a third larger than it was in 2007 – in order to accommodate more exhibitors and a host of new features.

The show’s massive indoor driving range will also be significantly bigger than at last year’s event illustrating the organisers’ desire to give visitors as many opportunities as possible to hit golf balls.

american golf will again be bringing its full range to the NEC and the award-winning retailer will be offering a host of ‘show only’ exclusives on products.

Noreen Parker, american golf’s show organiser, said: “We’re delighted to be the show’s retail partner for a second year. Last year’s NEC show was a huge success for american golf and we’re really looking forward to another opportunity to showcase our entire product range to such a large audience of golfers.”

The Golf Show Group’s chairman, Colin Brunton, said, “It is fantastic news that we are continuing our relationship with american golf. After the phenomenal success of last year’s launch show we’re going to be returning to Birmingham with all the features that proved so popular last year, and a couple of new surprises.”

The NEC Golf Show offers the entire golfing spectrum under one roof. A purpose-built american golf store, massive indoor driving range, numerous golf simulators and the 100ft putt are just some of the show’s main attractions.

Exhibitors will be showcasing cutting-edge golf equipment, from big brands offering custom fitting on their latest products, to one-man bands with the newest golfing gadgets.

Visitors can also sample the latest fairway fashions and hottest golfing destinations and a host of interactive features including the brand new Putt Black where golf meets snooker.
