It will have sessions focusing on leadership and teamwork development skills, marketing skills, and looking at the latest industry product technology.
The Conference will welcome a great line up of speakers that will share their knowledge and experience, along with challenging the many Countries attending in their future decision making, and benefit their own members, and ultimately the game of golf.
The Conference will lead off with a challenging and innovating presentation by Edwin Roald, Golf Architect, Golf Sustainability Advisor titled “Why 18 Holes – It’s about Time”. This will focus on how a simple but fundamental change, a return to one of golf’s long-standing but lost traditions can open new dimensions in our work, helping to make golf more relevant to our customers, to unlock the true potential of our game and profession, ultimately raising its value to our communities.
There will also be speakers representing many of the key organisations within golf, both presenting and leading some of the dedicated themed sessions that will provide discussions about the real challenges that the turf industry and golf are facing today.
Onyria Palmares Beach and Golf Resort will play host to the Practical Session, where there will be stations covering; modern renovation techniques, performance management of surfaces, along with looking at new innovation tools for golf course management.
