The Hurlingham Club, the prestigious private members’ club in south-west London, has praised the efficiency and operational savings of its new Club Car URBAN fleet, the road-legal utility model from the leading small-wheel electric vehicle manufacturer.
Set in 42 acres on the banks of the River Thames, The Hurlingham Club offers a variety of different sports, activities and hospitality to its 15,000 members.
It has chosen three zero-emission Club Car URBAN vehicles, known for their impressive efficiency, superior handling and unrivalled safety credentials, to assist in the maintenance of the grounds.
Nathan Totton, the club’s deputy head of buildings, said: “The Club Car URBAN has already made a big difference to our operations. The ability to drive off-site is a very important benefit for the team. It makes it very easy to collect materials from local suppliers when required.
