Troon Golf has been selected to manage Agalarov Estates, Moscow’s first fully integrated private golf community. This upscale golf community is set on 840 acres of rich, fertile land just 25 minutes from downtown Moscow.
It features 260 exclusive residences, an 18-hole championship golf course, 65,000 square-foot clubhouse, town homes and apartments, as well as several other recreation facilities.
Designed by American golf architect Cal Olson, the 7,100-yard parkland layout features a dramatic undulating course, thematically set in a water environment. Dramatic water features include meandering streams and scenic waterfalls that will occasionally come into play, offering challenges for players of any ability. The course will be fashioned with lush and mature trees, as well as 90 strategically placed bunkers. All 18 holes are scheduled to be open for play in the summer of 2009, along with the Mediterranean-style clubhouse.
