Tacit Golf, one of the largest suppliers of golf course equipment in the UK and Ireland and synonymous for quality products and excellent service, has extended their involvement with the Ryder Cup dating back to 1989.
The PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles is using Tacit’s high quality and exceptionally durable tournament flagsticks and aluminium hole cups.
Tacit’s embroidered pin flags are being used on course and currently feature on Sky Sports advertisements and footage. The embroidery displays intricate detail within the logo using over 15 different coloured threads, with approximately 100,000 stitches per panel and taking three hours to produce. Tacit have created one of the finest examples of pin flags ever produced.
The flags in particular received a glowing seal of approval from the European Tour Ryder Cup staging and branding teams “It looks absolutely amazing, both the staging and branding side loved what you have done.”
Further equipment in use includes Tacit’s hammer Sholé; a precision engineered holecutter ensuring the hole is cut 108mm time after time. The Sholé holecutter is used in conjunction with the cutting board and patented integral depth rings allowing the depth of the core being removed and replaced to be precisely the same size.
Improving hole visibility for the estimated worldwide TV audience of 500 million people across 183 countries is Tacit’s hole whitener ensuring the earthen edge in between hole and cup is evenly painted.
