Swan to expand Great Hadham

Adding nine holes to this Hertfordshire course is just one of several projects for Swan Golf Designs. The practice is now working in 28 countries including Slovakia, Bosnia and, most recently, Oman

Swan Golf Designs, international golf course architects based in Essex, England is commissioned to design the expansion of the Great Hadham Golf and Country Club’s facilities, located close to Stansted in neighbouring Hertfordshire to 27 holes.
The additional nine holes, to include a short family course, driving range and short game golf academy, will bring an added dimension to the membership of Great Hadham and visitors alike, a club which boasts a fitness, spa and wellness centre.
The project, already commenced, will also see the renovation and refurbishment of the eighteen holes course throughout its layout. Works are anticipated to last for three years with an opening of the new facilities in 2009.
This announcement coincides with the launch of a new website which features not only details of the design practice, now working in some 28 countries with eight architects, but also the comprehensive range of professional services offered together with gallery images of SGD’s project work.
