Carr Golf, Ireland’s leading provider of golf club management and maintenance services, has signed a multi-year golf course maintenance contract with Stackstown Golf Club in County Dublin.
The contract signals the second new client for Carr Golf this year, following the commencement of a long-term course maintenance deal with Rathsallagh Golf Club in January. Stackstown Golf Club joins Edmondstown and Foxrock Golf Clubs, amongst others, for whom Carr Golf are providing maintenance services.
Originally founded in 1976 as the Golf Club of An Garda Síochána, Stackstown Golf Club sits nestled in the backdrop of the Dublin Mountains with spectacular views across Dublin Bay and the city. In 2011, the club opened the Harrington Room, a wonderful showcase of Padraig Harrington’s career and Tour mementos.
Carr Golf’s agreement with Stackstown will focus on raising course standards and presentation, alongside an enhanced training programme to all greens staff. Aindriu Jackson, Regional Superintendent at Carr Golf will work closely with Stackstown Course Superintendent Ed Mulligan and his experienced team to execute an agronomic plan designed to consistently exceed member and visitor expectations.
