Experienced golf club operations manager Dan Naudo has been appointed general manager at the IMG-managed Sindalah Island Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.

A member of the PGA and a certified club manager by the CMAE, Dan has spent the last five years at Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland, joining as Director of Golf in 2018, before being promoted to Assistant Manager in 2020 and Director of Operations in September 2022.
His CV also includes seven years as Head of Operations at London Golf Club in Kent and four years in sales roles at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire.

Sindalah Island Golf Club, which is part of the $500bn NEOM development project currently under construction on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Coast, will feature a 9-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr and a 280m driving range.

The par-70 course, which is expected to open in 2024, will feature two sets of tees and will measure 6,474 yards. When complete, Sindalah Island will also feature a marina, hotel, shops and a residential community.

IMG Golf Course Services has been tasked with providing the pre-opening, marketing, and management services to the golf club. Russell Hannah, vice president, IMG Golf Course Services, said: “We are delighted to partner with Neom and Sindalah Island and welcome them proudly to our growing portfolio of world-class clubs and resorts across the globe. Their vision for this stunning new destination makes it exactly the sort of project which will benefit from IMG’s international experience and resources. We have great expectations for Sindalah Island Golf Club and are looking forward to helping to deliver on Neom’s vision for what will be one of the most picturesque courses in the region.”
