With the golf season just around the corner, 36-hole Richmond Park Golf Course is offering an unmissable opportunity to play golf in London’s largest Royal Park, for just one pound.

Jon Dummett, General Manager for Richmond Park Golf Course explains: “We first launched the Round for a Pound offer in 2014 to reward our Loyaltee card holders. It was a massive success and encouraged those who had never visited Richmond Park before to try the new Prince’s and Duke’s courses. Loyaltee is free to join and provides card holders with discounted green fees all year round, VIP event invitations and access to special offers such as Round for a Pound.”

Opened in 1924 by HRH Prince of Wales, Richmond Park Golf Course was heralded as a place where ‘Artisans and Royalty are equally welcome’. 90 years on the 36-hole venue is now truly fit for a king, following a £3 million improvements programme by Glendale Golf, who is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

The improvements programme was completed in late 2014 and included a brand new driving range, academy course and contemporary clubhouse with a roof made entirely from acid grassland turf sourced from Richmond Park.

Round for a Pound tee time are available during selected slots from Monday 30th March to Sunday 5th April.

Glendale Golf – a Parkwood Holdings company – operates eight golf courses across the country: Airlinks Golf Course, Middlesex; Beckenham Place Park Golf Course, Lewisham; Castle Point Golf Centre, Essex; Duxbury Park Golf Course, Chorley; Edwalton Golf Centre, Nottingham; Portsmouth Golf Course, Hampshire; Richmond Park Golf Course, London; and Tilgate Forest Golf Centre, Crawley
