Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles, is to supply two new upmarket golf resorts in Egypt after demonstrating its superior after sales service.

Emaar Misr, a subsidiary of global property developer Emaar, will take delivery of more than 60 vehicles split between its new golf destinations, Marassi, located on the Mediterranean coast, and Uptown Cairo, in the heart of the Egyptian capital.

British Forces introduced golf to Egypt during World War I and the nation now boasts 28 golf courses, of which, 85 per cent use Club Car vehicles*.

To complement a fleet of the latest Precedent i3 and a selection of utility vehicles, Club Car will provide Emaar Misr with its comprehensive after sales service, which includes bi-weekly visits to the two golf destinations by Egyptian distributor, Hydroturf Egypt, as well as maintenance training for on-site technicians.

Asser Hamdy, Emaar Misr Director of Hospitality, said: “Club Car differentiates itself with a first class after sales service, which is an important consideration for golf resort owners.

“It is also important for brands associated with our resorts to reflect our own reputation for quality. Consequently, Club Car is a perfect fit.”

Kevin Hart, Club Car Director of Golf Business for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa, said: “Our after sales service provides golf resort operators and owners with peace of mind as they can be assured their vehicles are in operation seven days a week.”
