Work has begun to build an 18-hole, spaced-themed Adventure Golf course at Leicester Golf Centre which is due to be ready to open this summer.

Speaking about the £700,000 project, Leicester Golf Centre’s owner, Anders Mankert, who is an Advanced Fellow of the PGA, said: “After the huge support we have received since reopening our 9-hole Gallops golf course and building a 16 bay Toptracer range, this seems the natural next step in our plans to create one of the best and most welcoming golf facilities in the UK.

“It’s perhaps slightly unconventional to source a separate designer, builder and theming creator, but I really felt that we had one chance to source the absolute best in their respective fields to create a totally unique facility.”

Leicester Golf Centre’s Toptracer range was voted as one of the best three driving range facilities in the UK by BBC Radio 5 in a recent poll and continues to draw new people to the game.
