Leading his team under the Jacklin Design Group banner, the British golf maestro has landed two lucrative golf course design projects in Morocco. One of these projects, called the Bouskoura Golf City Resort, is located just 20 minutes from downtown Casablanca. The setting is a spectacular 220 hectare tract of land nestled in the picturesque Bouskoura Forest. The second course will be in Marrakesh.
The resort, close to the Casablanca Mohamed V International Airport, is developed under the Prestigia luxury real estate brand which is operated by Addoha Group, Morocco’s leading real estate conglomerate.
Besides a world-class, 18-hole Tony Jacklin Signature design course and golf academy, the resort of Bouskoura Golf City will offer different types of villas. These include unique stand alone villas with direct access to the golf course and stunning views of the forest, featuring their own private swimming pool and upscale apartments tastefully blending original architecture and modern comfort, as well as integrated amenities like commercial and leisure activities, educational activities, a first class hotel, a spa, etc.

The golf course will be designed by Tony Jacklin in association with Martin & Stirling (golf course architects), and will be built on 65 hectares and will be a 6,423m long, par 72 course. The front nine is scheduled to open in the summer of 2012 and construction for the back nine is planned to start in late 2011 ready for opening in 2013.
The official signing ceremony for the project took place at Bouskoura Golf City and was witnessed by some 100 specially invited guests. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the unveiling of the new resort’s logo and the logo for the Tony Jacklin Casablanca signature golf course.
