Attention golfers in central England and north London! Near Milton Keynes, iPlayGolfUK has opened a major new weather-proof golf attraction which has a wow factor rarely seen in the sport.
The country’s largest indoor golf simulator complex outside London is now fully open, with a May Bank Holiday weekend launch party involving free-to-enter golfing challenges, and 20% off all golf retail items.
iPlayGolfUK has six huge screens on which you can play over 70 of the world’s most famous golf courses, in a Sports Bar environment including a large lounge area with sofas and a 60” TV with PlayStation 4 and Sky Sports, plus a VIP Room for private golf and sports parties.
Small wonder that it has already been described by early visitors as “golfing heaven”.
Based at the iCentre off Howard Way in Newport Pagnell, just minutes off Jct 14 on the M1, the 6,400sq foot iPlayGolfUK indoor golf centre has a team of PGA golf coaches on hand to give lessons to golfers of all abilities including complete beginners. There’s also a relaxing café and a golf store stocked with everything from small essentials to the latest golf apparel and major-brand golf equipment.
Its six Foresight GC2 simulators, each with additional Smart Camera system, pack awesome graphical power to produce stunningly-clear and fluid images, but it’s not all about playing the world-famous courses (of which there are dozens, including Pebble Beach and 2016 Ryder Cup venue Hazletine).
There are also a myriad of less-serious challenges such as Crazy Golf, Nearest The Pin, Fairy Tale Golf, Pitch and Putt, Long Drive and Smash The Windows to tempt you and your golfing mates into spending quality time at iPlayGolfUK.
Its club-fitting team, led by PGA professionals Danny Poulter and Greg Tilbury, offer Buckinghamshire’s largest independent golf custom-fitting facility with two Foresight HMT Systems plus a SAM Puttlab system to produce all the launch monitor data needed for the perfect fit, with most of the major brands available to buy.
The bookable iPlayGolfUK VIP room has a super-size HD screen with additional golf courses to play and incredible weather effects piped through a powerful sound system. There’s luxury seating, waitress service for up to 24 people in comfort, a huge TV with Sky Sports, a Sony PS4 games machine, projection facilities for major sports events on the big screen and a private surround sound system.
The licensed bar has Costa Coffee, wines, cocktails, a selection of beers and soft drinks, and free Wi-Fi, and its Café provides a wide range of hot and cold snacks.
Creating the ultimate atmosphere for late-night events (iPlayGolfUK has a 3am licence) is a banging Monacar sound system with nightclub-effect speakers and variable lighting throughout.
