11.47am 28th May 2024 - Course Development

The Inspiration Club, home to the UK’s newest golf course, opened its tee booking system today [May 28], giving golfers the chance to be among the first to take on the challenge of the 6,610-yard course.

Located in Northolt, Middlesex, close to the A40 and five miles from junction 16 of the M25.
green fees at the 18-hole championship course, which was designed by Mackenzie & Ebert, are priced at between £70-£90.

Bookings can be made up to 10 days in advance, with the first available tee times being from June 3.

“We are so excited to show the public the work we have put into the Inspiration,” said club owner Tony Menai Davis. “It’s been a labour of love that has spanned nearly ten years. We’ve worked with some of the best course designers in the world, meticulously planning every aspect of the course to deliver an incredible golfing experience within sight of the heart of the city.

“Pricing has been key for us,” added Menai Davis. “We want as many people as possible to know what it’s like to play our interpretation of a modern links and experience surfaces and design as good as this. We’ve also created mixed ability tees to ensure that all golfers can enjoy playing the Inspiration together. We are welcoming everyone to play the Inspiration and can’t wait to get the first reactions.”

The course features four par-five holes – which bookend the front and back nine – along with four par-threes and 10 par-fours. Designed in the style of an inland links, the course features rolling links-style fairways and large USGA-specification greens which average 550 square metres in size, enabling a wide range of pin positions. The greens have been seeded with pure distinction bent grass which ensures smooth putting surfaces throughout the year.
