Great Hadham to expand

The eighteen hole Golf and Country Club in East Hertfordshire is set to add a nine hole family par 3 course and a custom built golf academy

The eighteen hole Golf and Country Club in East Hertfordshire, conveniently situated within half an hour of the growing Stansted Airport, is set to add to its 20 year old course a nine hole family par 3 course together with a custom built golf academy, with bunker, chipping and putting tuition facilities and a modern driving range.
The project will also include the renovation and redesign of parts of the 18 holes course to meet the objectives of the overall refurbishment and expansion to include new greens, tees and bunkering together with a new irrigation throughout.
Inter-fairway development of natural and “waste” areas will complement the renovation works to promote environmental and habitat corridors. Works, to the plans of Swan Golf Designs, international golf course architects, are due to begin this autumn, and will last for two and a half years
