The New Year marked a fresh start for the newly independent Cheshire hotel with the commencement of a £4 million refurbishment project.
Recent guests to the hotel will have experienced the new look facilities including all public areas of reception, Morgan’s Bar and lounge area. In addition all residential guests, spa lovers and members can now enjoy the new spa facilities which have also been enhanced.
As Cheshire’s Country Estate the lounge and bar décor has been tailored to reflect the 1000 acre estate location of the hotel and the variety of wildlife surrounding the area. A mixture of rich mahogany and country themed fabrics including Mulberry flying ducks have been incorporated into the theme to give the refurbished areas a country feel.
Anyone looking for a relaxing visit to Carden Park will now have an enhanced experience with the new spa leisure facilities. The Jacuzzi has been replaced with a brand new hydrotherapy pool with space for 16 people, a brand new sauna has been fitted and six tepidarium heated spa beds now sit within the heat experience area.
Hamish Ferguson, general manager said “We are thrilled with the response to the new facilities from our recent visitors and are looking forward to starting the next stage of the refurbishment. Enhancing our facilities allows us to offer the highest quality experience for all our guests and build upon our reputation as the largest independent hotel in Cheshire. We hope to welcome many new and returning customers to experience the new look Carden Park over the next few months.”
Plans for further refurbishment work includes all 196 bedrooms, the redecoration of the Carden Suite and golf buggy pathways throughout the Cheshire golf course allowing guests to use golf buggies throughout the year.
