A newly built driving range in Kingswinford located in the West Midlands is proud to announce its opening to the public. Kingswinford Golf Centre is located adjacent to Dudley Kingswinford Rugby club just off the B4178 Swindon Road.

It offers state of the art facilities such as a 21 bay floodlit driving range with heating facilities, professional indoor teaching and custom fit studio, a short game and practice putting green. Within the next 12 months it is set to open a 9 hole golf course which is currently in its development stage.

The indoor teaching studio is run by Darren Prosser, an extremely professional, friendly and experienced golfer with over 26 years of experience. He is currently a Class A member of the PGA, current captain of Stafford PGA and has experience playing in European Tour Events, the BMW PGA championship at Wentworth and many more. The indoor studio has the latest training systems available to improve all aspects of your game.

James Murphy has been appointed General Manager of Kingswinford Golf Centre and his drive is to make the facility the best in the area. He said: “A lot of hard work has gone into the development, preparation and opening of the driving range and we aim offer to as high standards as possible”.

“The driving range successfully opened early November and the initial feedback has been great within the community. We have already signed up a large volume of members and our aim is to provide an excellent golf academy for all ages.”

The driving range has been supplied with netted bay dividers, mats and outfield targets from Range Solutions. The netted bay dividers were bespoke made to Kingswinford’s specification which allows maximum privacy, safety and focus to the practicing golfer.

Alwena Beresford of Range Solutions said: “We had an initial meeting two years ago, which led them to visit our manufacturing facility to see how our products are designed, developed and manufactured so we could meet their requirements for the new golf facility.”

“Mike Davis and James Murphy were always polite and professional. I wish them every success for the future”.

Kingswinford Golf Centre centre has adequate parking, with changing areas and disabled facilities.
