An international conference on golf course designing, construction and marketing will take place on 20th and 21st February, 2006 in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. The conference focuses on potential investors, golf course operators and representatives of the public sector, who are participating on the development of golf sport and tourism.
Among the speakers are Mr. Rainer Preissmann, member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, Mrs. Marie Jehličkovà¡, president of Czech Travel Golf Association, and Mr. ArnoÅ¡t Wagner, publisher of Development News.
On Monday, 20th February the programme will concentrate on golf course investment and cooperation between the public sector and private investors while on Tuesday, 21st February the theme will be golf tourism, its marketing and clients, and cooperation between investors and tourism businesses
Golf in the Regions – a pilot project in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic is co financed by the European Union.
