Jason Stoop, Managing Director of VPAR said, “We are thrilled to be recognised as the best sports app by such an esteemed group of people in the sports industry. It has been a long journey in creating the ultimate golf app, we wanted to ensure we were providing every golfer with all of the essential features that they require. User response has been incredible and downloads are growing exponentially. Winning this award is a great step forward towards achieving our vision of changing the way amateur golf is played.”
Rebecca Hopkins, Director of the Sports Technology Awards, said, “Technology is now a fundamental part of our daily sports experience and this influence is only going to increase. The sector evolves rapidly and the people leading the charge are amazing in their gift for creating the next great idea. Consequently we are not surprised – but hugely delighted – that a significant percentage of today’s winners are from growing companies not just established brands.”
