UK Golf Federation appoints Intuitive Edge as new marketing partner

3.33pm 7th May 2021 - Corporate

Intuitive Edge Marketing has been appointed as marketing partners to assist the UK Golf Federation in reaching new heights in 2021.

Douglas Poole, CEO at the UKGF, commented on the new partnership with Intuitive Edge and believes: ‘Our message has always been to support our members and their businesses and the huge steps we are now taking fits perfectly into our vision of preserving the core values and best interests of our members who are owners and commercial operators of golf facilities and also towards supporting growth in participation and ensuring accessible golf for all. Appointing Intuitive Edge will ensure we get the maximum communication out of all our developments and supports our need for championing dynamic change for golf as golf moves successfully into the 21st century and beyond.’

Brandon Trimmer, Director of Intuitive Edge Marketing, says: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with an organisation as forward thinking and developmental as the UK Golf Federation. Our team has been working extremely hard to support both our golf club clients and the wider industry through the pandemic, and we’re excited to now be working with the Federation to achieve its goals for the coming months and years.”

Intuitive Edge offer a wide range of marketing services, but most notably managing the entire sales and marketing process for golf golfs, generating tangible and measurable results, and freeing up more time for managers to focus on their main job of running the golf club.

They will be working the UKGF to raise its profile with both golfers and operators, utilising modern marketing methods to ensure it’s positioned to achieve its objectives within both of these markets.

The UKGF is a not-for-profit organisation now with over 1,000 member facilities whose aims are to represent and support the interests of proprietary, and operator commercial golf courses and driving ranges in the UK. It takes a key role in providing leadership in discussions with Government and golf’s governing bodies on all matters that impact commercially minded golf facilities. The Federation has a programme of benefits and opportunities for its members to enable them to understand and develop their business. Its mission is to “grow golf participation through open access golf facilities and grow the bottom line”.

More information on membership is available on the UK Golf Federation website www.ukgolffederation.com where annual savings of over £1,000 on services can be found (T&C’s apply) and it is quick and easy for new members to join.
