Tomlinson brings valuable experience at another world-renowned golf venue, joining from a three-year spell as a Golf Sales Executive at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.
His arrival follows the appointment of Debbie MacMillan as International Golf Business Development Manager at the start of 2024; MacMillan will continue to grow the Trump Turnberry brand overseas in conjunction with Tomlinson’s domestic focus.
Tomlinson, who is a qualified PGA Professional, said: “It’s an honour to be a part of one of the most prestigious and historic venues in British sport, and it’s an especially exciting time to join with the Ailsa about to get even better. Bringing this iconic resort to so many people, elevating it even further in the ranks of global golf, is a challenge I am very much looking forward to over the years to come.”
Nic Oldham, General Manager at Trump Turnberry, added: “We’re very excited to add Ben to our team and look forward to working with him to bring Turnberry to more people than ever before.
Ben’s fine work at The Belfry made it clear that he was the right person to take on this key position at our resort and it was a pleasure to welcome him in January and get him acquainted with our entire offering.”
