Toptracer Range is continuing its worldwide revolution of practice range facilities as a duo of leading venues in New Zealand have chosen to invest in the company’s state-of-the-art technology.
The first two destinations in New Zealand to join the ever-growing list of venues to install Toptracer Range technology, Auckland-based Remuera Golf Club and Golf Warehouse Ellerslie are both scheduled to introduce the system this month.
Golf Warehouse is the number one golf retailer in New Zealand and its Ellerslie venue is hailed as one of New Zealand’s busiest golf practice destinations. Remuera Golf Club, meanwhile, is renowned as one of the best natural range facilities in New Zealand. Recognised as one of the country’s finest golf courses, it is home to New Zealand Golf, New Zealand PGA and Auckland Golf.
Combining technology and fun to transform driving ranges into entertainment hubs for the whole family, Toptracer Range has been a huge success since its launch in 2012, and the breakthrough into the New Zealand market heralds the next stage of the company’s ongoing expansion.
Commenting on the company’s latest partnerships, Toptracer President Ben Sharpe said: “Our expansion into New Zealand is an exciting new venture and recognises our ambition to take Toptracer Range across the globe. Our technology allows facilities to create more fun and sociable experiences for their guests, meaning golfers are inclined to bring friends to the driving range and practice for longer. We are delighted that venues of the stature of Remuera Golf Club and Golf Warehouse Ellerslie recognise the impact that Toptracer Range will have on their practice offerings.”
Toptracer tracks the shots of the best players in the world on the PGA Tour and European Tour, and golfers of all ages and abilities are now able to share that experience in bays at driving ranges the world over. Using cameras mounted around the facility and 21-inch monitors found at each hitting bay, Toptracer Range technology displays an array of details of each shot – including distance, speed, launch angle, shape and more. Data is instantly recorded and displayed on the screen through a player profile that can continuously be accessed through the Toptracer Range community application.
Toptracer Range has been introduced at more than 100 venues worldwide to date, with installation at Remuera set to be completed on December 12, and Golf Warehouse Ellerslie scheduled for completion on December 20.
Already in use at leading venues in the USA and Europe, as well as facilities in Australia, Mexico and South Korea, Toptracer Range is also soon to be launched at 2018 Ryder Cup host venue, Le Golf National in Paris.
