Sweden-based driving range development company The Bucket Pros has enhanced its digitalisation and technology offering by acquiring Inward9, the World of Golf’s IT development company.
The purchase of Inward9, and the unique range management system, SEVE RMS, will allow more driving ranges to benefit from enhanced customer experiences, increased revenue and control.
The SEVE system was created by Inward9 as World of Golf, the leading driving range group in Northern Europe, struggled to find a market solution to digitalise their range. With no other systems available, Inward9 built SEVE RMS so that they could offer customers easy-to-use technology to purchase practice balls, which in turn provided reports on usage to World of Golf.
Over the past three years, The Bucket Pros have enjoyed exclusive rights to use and rent the system in Europe, where they have installed over 50 SEVE RMS systems in Spain and Scandinavia. The results have been very positive, with all customers having at least doubled their driving range turnover, and several achieving significantly better results.
SEVE RMS can be installed on an existing ball machine or through a new ball machine that has the SEVE RMS hardware installed from the factory. This ensures that the system can be utilised in its fullest capacity.
“We are extremely glad that The Bucket Pros can utilise our technology and we can mutually benefit from this acquisition, said Magnus Palm, CEO and owner of World of Golf. We have had a positive relationship with the team over the past few years and we are happy to be passing over the baton to them, so that they can continue to develop the system and help future golf facilities across Europe”.
The Bucket Pros development team will now take control of the SEVE RMS system and begin implementing immediate changes that will increase the functionality of the system including, loading speed, graphics, languages, payment types etc. whilst also looking at CRM integration, market data, analysis and reporting.
“To be able to offer a dedicated inhouse system will strengthen our offering to practice facilities throughout Europe,” said Andreaz Lindberg, CEO The Bucket Pros. “Together with our The Boost Method, we can now enhance our advice and consultation on how golf facilities can increase their revenues and enhance the consumer onsite experience. Our goal for SEVE RMS is for it to become the most advanced range management system, which will not only provide comprehensive reports but also provide a user-friendly experience.”
