Teeofftimes.co.uk, the UK’s leading online tee-time booking service, continues to expand, making a number of key appointments to its Account Management Team to build on what is expected to be another record year.

Chris Knight PGA has now been appointed Sales Manager, joining from the Lee Westwood Golf School where he was Business Development Manager. Having gained a wealth of industry experience – as Director of Golf for MacDonald Portal and also Teaching Professional at De Vere Belton Woods – Chris will be responsible for signing up new clubs to the Teeofftimes.co.uk site.

Chris O’Hagan joins as an Account Manager, with responsibility for the Southern regions. With a strong golfing background Chris joins from CLUB View where he was a Sales & Marketing Executive. He has also worked for SrixonCleveland as a club-maker, as well as prestigious golf venues Remedy Oak and London Golf Club.

And confirming the commitment of Teeofftimes.co.uk to internal promotion, William Castle has now also assumed the position of Account Manager. Having spent a year working as a Product Executive, William is now responsible for a portfolio of 200 venues.

Chris and William are part of a team of eight regional Account Managers working closely with clubs across the UK & Ireland to create bespoke strategies based on their individual tee-sheet requirements.

Richard Barker, General Manager of Teeofftimes.co.uk, said: “We are delighted to report these new appointments and welcome both Chris and Chris to the business. They bring plenty of industry experience and understanding to the roles and we’re confident that they will add a huge amount to Teeofftimes.co.uk.

“William has already proved his worth to the company and is fully deserving of his promotion to Account Manager. With these key positions now filled we’re very confident of building on the success of 2013. All three will be attending the forthcoming GCMA Conference – where Teeofftimes.co.uk will be exhibiting – and are very much looking forward to building close working relationships with both new and existing partners.”

The Windsor-based company is on course to smash the 350,000 golfers mark in 2013 – a massive increase from the 225,000 booked the previous year. More than a third of all bookings are now made via mobile devices – using both the iPhone &Android app and the mobile website –highlighting the desire of golfers to arrange their golf on the go. With 185 new clubs having signed up this year, the Teeofftimes.co.uk site features an industry–leading selection of more than 1,100 clubs nationwide.
