SunMountain Looks To Raise Its Golf Bags Profile

12.25pm 6th December 2013 - Corporate

H2NO_BAGS (1)SunMountain, the No.1 premium golf bag brand, is looking to raise the profile of its latest high-performance bag range across Europe with the appointment of leading sports marketing agency Sports Impact.

The Kingston-based agency will be reporting directly to SunMountain’s European distributor, Brand Fusion International Ltd.

Sports Impact boasts an impressive track record in managing marketing and PR for leading golf brands such as Galvin Green, Wilson Staff and Bridgestone Golf. It also promotes Motocaddy, the market-leading electric trolley company, and this year helped deliver the brand’s most successful launch featuring the compact M1 PRO.

Now the agency has been given the task of building the profile of SunMountain’s premium cart and carry bags – including the waterproof H2NO range – and helping to generate extra sales for the brand in key markets across Europe.

“We’re very excited about working with Sports Impact,” said Nigel Freemantle, Managing Director at Brand Fusion International. “Their impressive track record of brand-building on behalf of a number of big players in the golf industry, as well as their extensive media contacts, really stood out to us.”

Sports Impact CEO John Collard said: “SunMountain is a highly-respected producer of innovative, premium golf bags and the brand fits really well alongside our other top quality golf clients. We’re looking forward to promoting the bags across all media channels and helping more golfers appreciate just how good products like the new H2NO waterproof bags are.”

Sun Mountain has been responsible for many industry ‘firsts’, including the introduction of 100% waterproof bags and the built-in stand leg innovation on golf carry bags.
