St Andrews Bay signs Yamaha

Yamaha Motor (UK) Ltd is to supply the St Andrews Bay Golf Resort and Spa, St Andrews Scotland with over 40 Yamaha golf cars. John Kelly (director of golf, St Andrew’s Bay Golf Resort & Spa) and Billy Futatsugi (managing director, Yamaha Motor (UK) Ltd) have signed the exclusive three year contract and St Andrews Bay will take delivery of their fleet of Yamaha Ultima 48-volt electric golf cars and petrol service vehicles in June and July this year.

Andrew Smith, sales and marketing director at Yamaha said, “We are delighted to have secured this very important contract. Our policy of supplying the highest quality products with unrivalled service and support reflects the same company ethics as that of the Chateau Elan Group. The next three years will see our two companies working closely together which in turn will enhance the experience for all visitors to this five star venue”.

A joint statement from Dr Panoz, chairman of the St Andrews Bay Golf Resort and Spa, and John Kelly, director of golf at St Andrews Bay says, “Over the last nine months Yamaha have worked closely with us to determine our golf car requirements. They have demonstrated a level of commitment to service and support that will enable us to deliver the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. This is vital as we establish St Andrews Bay Golf Resort and Spa as one of Scotland’s premier resort venues.”
