REALiTEE Golf, creator of golf’s complete new indoor experience integrating social, simulator and live play, is excited to announce a partnership with the industry standard in golf simulator technology, TruGolf.
The technical partnership will see the two work together to build a custom interface between E6Golf software, TruGolf simulators and REALiTEE Golf’s innovative game modes.
The agreement will also see the latest versions of TruGolf simulators and ball-tracking hardware installed in REALiTEE Golf indoor facilities, with virtual golf on offer at dozens of the world’s most prestigious courses via TruGolf’s unmatched E6Golf simulation software.
“TruGolf has been passionate about recreating the artistry and beauty of golf for over twenty years” said REALiTEE Golf founder Dave Shultz, “and we are ideally matched. This is a key strategic partnership for REALiTEE Golf which will benefit our customers in many ways – similar to our agreement with golf architects Robert Trent Jones II, who will design our traditional ‘live play’ environment.”
Ryan Jones, Director of Business Development at TruGolf, said: “REALiTEE Golf has some amazing new gameplay ideas which golfers are going to love, and TruGolf is excited about the part we will play in bringing REALiTEE’s global vision for indoor golf to life.”
Golfers can look forward to a totally new experience when the REALiTEE Golf venues open their doors, combining simulator-based long game play with a ‘live play’ short game area.
On an indoor course of about two acres – in contrast with the 100+ acres normally needed for a golf course – more than 120 players can be accommodated at any one time in a typical REALiTEE Golf venue, with twelve golf simulators in a family-friendly communal area, and 18 flagsticks in the adjoining live play golfing area.
Technology will be everywhere you look in a REALiTEE Golf venue. Customers will wear smartwatches with a custom REALiTEE Golf app which will help them navigate between the simulator and live play areas – while interacting with friends old and new during their experience.
“Providing thrilling new technology for people to have fun with at our indoor golf venues is integral to our mission” said Shultz, a product development and engineering leader who devised the REALiTEE Golf concept in 2015. “It is crucial that golf attracts the younger generation, and advanced technology is one of the keys to that.
“Our new agreement with TruGolf gives us the best possible partner with whom to create a technological advantage.
“Whether you are a six-year-old beginner or a low-handicap veteran, I guarantee that you will have your mind blown when you step into a REALiTEE Golf venue, and TruGolf simulators with E6Golf software will be integral to the experience.”
