Swan Golf Designs, the firm of golf course architects based in Essex has signed a co-operation agreement with Columella, a Russian specialist sports turf practice, to collaborate and combine their services in the former Soviet Union.
“I look forward to working with Carlo Fontana of Columella,” said Howard Swan, principal of the Practice. “With only two courses in Russia the potential is massive. Given time and patience I have no doubt that golf and golf courses will come about.”
Swan Golf Designs already has considerable experience of working in east European countries. The Practice is active in Croatia, Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
