ProQuip, the world’s leading innovator of lightweight golf weatherwear, has been named as a provider of official merchandise to The Open Championship 2007.
The R&A has selected ProQuip to supply referees and officials at The Open Championship with specially designed wind tops and rain suits. It is the eighth consecutive year that ProQuip has supplied The Open Championship.
Richard Head, ProQuip managing director and chief designer, said, “ProQuip has worked closely with The R&A to design official weatherwear that looks extremely good while also being capable of withstanding the extreme weather conditions sometimes experienced at The Open Championship.”
