Promote People Hits the Bullseye in its First Two Years

11.08am 5th June 2024 - Corporate

With Luke Littler capturing the public’s attention in recent months, Promote People are celebrating their own bullseye with their 180th appointment since starting a little over two years ago.

The company, headed up by former golf club general manager, Richard Pilbury, offer recruitment services for all levels of employee, and all departments within a club. It’s something the industry has clearly welcomed with 180 successful placements so far.

Commenting on the achievement, Richard says, “We’re thrilled with how the first two years have gone, not exclusively because of the 180 placements but actually more because of the level of service we’ve been able to offer to both recruiters and candidates.”

“Someone’s career is something very important and going into this venture we wanted to offer a very personalised service where matching the right job for the right person was the priority. We explore the whole market and are as invested in ensuring it’s right for the candidate as we are ensuring the club are happy.

The scope of our attraction and advertising strategies reaches beyond industry sector norms and this has enabled us to identify skilled professionals looking to transition into the Golf sector.”

In addition to supporting the club in arranging interviews with the handpicked candidates, the company go further in gaining references and DBS checks on the successful candidate. It’s all part of the all-encompassing service that takes a significant amount of pressure off the Hiring Manager– and saves a lot of time too.

Recent placements have included a Front-of-House Manager for Verulam Golf Club, a Golf Membership Administrator for Edgbaston Golf Club and a number of General Manager roles for the leading multi-site owner/operators.
