Players 1st appoints head of new consultancy division

Customer experience management company Players 1st has announced the appointment of Liam Barn as Head of Consultancy.

With almost 30 years’ experience across multiple roles in the international golf industry, Barn has provided research, strategy, marketing and project management services to a variety of clients operating in the private and public sectors.

Roles have included developing multi-year golf tourism and visitor strategies for national governments and working with over 50 courses and resorts to develop targeted customer engagement strategies. Previous clients include The R&A, Scottish Golf, the Scottish Government, Zest.golf and Tourism Northern Ireland.

In his new role, Barn will spearhead Players 1st’s new consultancy division, combining his strategic expertise with Players 1st’s data-driven insights to deliver unmatched value to golf course operators and federations.
