Swedish brand, Oscar Jacobson, may boast a 112-year heritage in tailoring and many decades’ experience at the sharp end of high-quality apparel, but it has never shied away from innovation and progress, whether in the garments it creates, or now in the medium it will use to bring the OJ Sport message to the world going forwards.

Following the recent move to bring the Autumn/Winter 2015 golf collection under the broader OJ Sport umbrella in recognition of the ever more blurred boundaries between golf wear and everyday wear, the brand is now proud to unveil its all-new website to the world at

After many months of research, development and significant financial investment, the new website is designed to better meet the ever-changing needs and demands of all Oscar Jacobson golf and active consumers. For just as today’s performance garments and product ranges have evolved to better satisfy the needs of golfers, so too is there now a growing need for more sophisticated and dynamic ways to broadcast the brand’s key messages.

“It has been a substantial investment for the brand, but it was one we knew we had to make to help drive the brand forward and to help Oscar Jacobson maintain its position at the very forefront of the golf and apparel market” said Gunnar Hedendahl, Global Sales & Marketing Director – Sport. “The new OJ Sport website is much more social media-focused, consumer-friendly and brand-driven, designed to be a dynamic and ever-changing hub for all things OJ.”

The responsive site works equally well on mobiles, tablets and laptops, allowing today’s busy yet technically savvy generation full access while on the move. The home page offers a real dashboard of headlines and links not just to the latest OJ Sport product range and key garments for the season, but also to tour staff profiles, a store locator, features about key courses and video content. Full interactivity with OJ Sport will be available via direct links to its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube accounts.

A series of short films highlighting the performance benefits and design attributes of key garments will also feature heavily throughout the site. The first to go live will be the Mickey Tour waterproofs, central to the Weather Protection System (WPS) collection. “Our aim is to produce a number of videos throughout the year to help bring the product range to life in a dynamic way that static images just can’t replicate. With the new films, we hope the new website will become the destination for all things Oscar Jacobson for both consumers and trade” concluded Hedendahl.
