UK and Irish golfers are being given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a game of golf with world No.1 Tiger Woods as part of a promotion run by Nike Golf to coincide with the launch its new range of Victory Red irons, which are on sale now.
The first promotion, the Victory Red Challenge, runs from December 2008 to July 2009, and takes the form of online competitions that are being run on Nike Golf’s exclusive internet microsite, www.victoryredchallenge.com
The competitions run for three months at a time and are open to all consumers with prizes of signed Tiger Woods’ accessories including caps, flags and posters. Entrants will be required to answer a question and complete a tie-breaker before entering their details.
The second competition, found at www.victoryredplayers.com is exclusive to those who have purchased a set of Victory Red irons and registered their equipment online. These names will then be put forward into a draw to win the grand prize – the chance to play with 14-time Major winner Tiger Woods on his home turf.
In addition to the grand prize, there are further exclusive ‘money-can’t-buy’ prizes for purchasers of Victory Red irons that change every two months and which will be won with a question and tie-break format.
