Ground2Control has appointed Julie Knight to the newly created role of Customer Liaison Manager to support golf club general managers and course managers, enabling them to maximise the use of their available resources and improve overall efficiency. This follows previous roles at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club and the Golf Club Managers’ Association.
Ground2Control provides a software system that delivers all the operational, financial management and safety information that golf clubs need in order to be more effective, make better informed decisions and keep tighter control of costs.
“We passionately believe that in order for golf clubs to survive and ride out the current pressures it is essential to get golf clubs running like the most efficient businesses. We are delighted that Julie has joined to help us help golf clubs implement Ground2Control faster,” said Ian Ratcliffe, Managing Director.
This appointment marks the beginning of a new recruitment phase for Ground2Control following twelve months of growth.
“I’m really excited to be able to use and share my decades of experience within the business of delivering golf to help managers, especially at such a challenging time for the industry,” said Julie.
Julie has a keen eye for detail and will support existing Ground2Control customers to get their systems up to date and improve the culture of safety and efficiency among golf club staff. She will also be on hand to help new customers implement the Health & Safety and Resource Management modules of Ground2Control’s cloud software.
“Julie is a great fit for us. She is experienced in the business of delivering golf and has spent years supporting golf club managers getting the nitty gritty right which is wisdom you just can’t get in any other business context.
Ground2Control provides software to help golf clubs learn how to meet HSE requirements, fulfil their legal obligations and run golf clubs more efficiently.
