Nationwide search for ‘Faces of Bunker Mentality’

Bunker Mentality – one of Europe’s most fashionable golf brands – has just launched a revolutionary Ambassadors Programme, a search for 50 real golfers of all ages and abilities to showcase its clothing on and off the course during 2008.

As part of the ‘Bunker Mentality Ambassadors Programme‘ each Ambassador will be allowed to buy £500 of BM clothing for £200. Successful Ambassadors will also:

• • Get sneak previews of new products
• • Receive invites to new season launches
• • Be used in PR and advertising
• • Be invited to play in special Bunker Mentality golf events

In keeping with the brand’s ambitious digital strategy, Ambassadors will get their own web page on where they will be encouraged to share their season’s golfing glory with the world and post pictures of themselves in BM gear.

And they will also feature in the brand’s extensive advertising campaign, designed to demonstrate that Bunker Mentality can be worn ‘from first tee to last orders‘ and features designs and styles that are ‘all about attitude, not age‘.

“In the past couple of years we’ve had enquiries from EuroPro Tour players, PGA pros playing in regional and national PGA events and ordinary club and casual golfers – all of them loving the Bunker Mentality brand. This is a chance for all those golfers – and others – to become our first ever brand ambassadors.”

The Bunker Mentality Ambassadors Programme will launch with 50 golfers each in the UK, Germany and Sweden. Applicants must have internet and email access and need to be web-literate, especially with social-networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.

The search for the fifty Bunker Mentality Ambassadors launches on 1st May 2008. All applicants will be assessed by a judging panel and be appointed throughout the year.

Bunker Mentality produces Playa golf shirts, polo shirts, knitwear, trousers, jackets, t-shirts, belts, bags and accessories for golf addicts. The company’s main logo features ‘Stella‘ – a distinctive silhouetted woman in a bikini, with golf club in hand.

Bunker Mentality is currently available in Harrods, selected American Golf stores, Scottsdale golf and several golf clubs, including The Grove, De Vere Belton Woods and the Marriot Forest of Arden.
