All golf clubs that used or are still using the DJB software can finally relax in the secure knowledge that MH Systems has acquired the intellectual property of DJB Software.
MH Systems are securing an agreement with CONGU and the EGU that means that CONGU compliancy continues after 30 April for the rest of the 2010 season. MH Systems’s acquisition has now ended the confusion over DJB, and provides several hundred golf clubs with all the reassurance and the level of support they ever wanted for their DJB software.
No need to change, just call MH Systems and get updated
David Hesketh, Director of MH Systems explains: “There is no need for any DJB customers to move to another company’s software – as has been happening, and largely as a result of the confusion about DJB’s CONGU situation. We have acquired the full intellectual property of DJB, and this includes the Competitions and Handicapping software application.”
“This means that for any club still in any doubt about those members that have either inactive or active handicaps (due to DJB being unable to renew its CONGU license last year), all these clubs now have to do is to give us a call and we will provide them with an approved way of taking their DJB Handicap data and updating it to conform to the 2010 active/inactive status.”
“Applied this way, all these clubs’ members’ handicaps, following our agreement with both the EGU and CONGU which we expect to receive next week, will be valid for the rest of 2010. The same clubs will then be able to update with MH Systems at the end of 2010 to ensure the active and inactive handicaps are ready for 2011.”
Full ex-DJB Support and more
There is more good news for the DJB customers. Not only do they immediately benefit from the 6-man strong MH Systems support team, but it is being further strengthened by both Adrian Dibble and Mike Heritage, both of whom used to work for DJB’s support team and who are now with MH Systems full time. As David Hesketh explains: “With both Adrian and Mike coming on board, it means that the same friendly and helpful support that DJB customers used to enjoy, is now available in depth at MH Systems.”
So now all that any clubs that used, or are using, DJB software applications, have to do is to call MH Systems on 01732 367 227, or e-mail djbclient@mhsystems.co.uk
