MANORS launches seed funding campaign

3.36pm 14th December 2023 - Corporate

British-based golf fashion brand MANORS has launched a fundraising campaign to help continue the company’s continued growth since its launch in 2018.

MANORS, which sells its golf apparel and accessories range online, says it generated £300,000 in retail sales in 2022, and has grown that figure to £430,000 for the first 10 months of 2023.

The company launched its fundraising campaign on CrowdCube and has reached almost 90% of its £400,000 target as of December 14, with over 40 different investors. In return for a cash investment, which starts from as little as £150, investors receive a sliding scale of rewards, from a free t-shirt for the lowest investment to life-time discounts and luxury golf days for those investing more than £12,500.

The company’s management team, led by managing director JoJo Regan, says that money raised will be used ‘to invest in key talent, content creation, digital marketing and manufacturing to scale their digital presence and e-commerce platform’.

Regan said: “We’re excited to announce Manors is crowdfunding and offering our incredible community early access to own a piece of the business they helped build.”

The brand has enjoyed support from a range of celebrity endorsements in recent years, including England and Arsenal footballer Declan Rice, England cricketers Sam Billings and Ollie Pope, pop star and golf management company owner Niall Horan, actors Tom Holland and Nicholas Hoult, and musician Tom McFarland. The latter two of which are investors in the company.
