Manheim drives golf buggy sale

Manheim Auctions sold 259 golf buggies at a recent sale, hosted by MOX UK. Top performer on the day was a 1999 ClubCar 4 seat petrol buggy which sold for £1700.

Demonstrating its versatility in selling almost anything on wheels, Manheim sold 259 golf buggies at a recent sale, hosted by MOX UK, Europe’s largest buggy and turf equipment leasing company, at their UK headquarters in Banbury.

The sale teed off with over 30 golf club and trade buyers competing against each other to bag a bargain. Top performer on the day was a 1999 ClubCar 4 seat petrol buggy which sold for £1700. Other models on offer included an electric buggy which sold for £750 and an LPG version which was bought for £650.

Alex Wright, Manheim’s commercial vehicles sales director, says, “The support of this sale surpassed our expectations and is an excellent example of how good teamwork between Manheim and its clients achieves results.”
