A recently completed MBO led by Trevor Walker, managing director, and David Rowlands, finance director, has resulted in Guidestar Ltd purchasing the brand names, assets and stock of Regal Golf, manufacturers of clubs, bags, trolleys, rainwear and accessories from the receivers of Oxygen Sports and Leisure.
Whilst the attendant legalities and time constraints of the recent purchase have meant that the company has been unable to exhibit in either Munich or Marbella, the 2002 product range is now complete.
“The opportunity to reinvent the company and offer a professional service commensurate with the known quality of the product range is palpable,” said Trevor Walker.
The company will remain at its current location in the short term but intends to relocate elsewhere in West Yorkshire in the near future.
