London Golf Club chooses Club Car

7.58am 1st July 2008 - Corporate

Club Car has agreed a Preferred Supplier contract with The London Golf Club, the venue for the 2008 European Open which takes place on 3rd – 6th July.

Hailed as one of the best golf courses in the south east with unrivalled quality and service, the club has chosen a golf car fleet to match. The partnership between The London Golf Club and Club Car has allowed the club to personalise the fleet in its corporate colours; chocolate brown and orange.

The fleet of 50 electric Precedent golf cars, supplied by local Club Car distributor Paul Argar and the team at Drake and Fletcher, were sprayed chocolate brown with the logo in orange on the front. To accompany the fleet, two marshal cars were sprayed orange to ensure they stand out on the course.

One of the main driving forces behind The London Golf Club’s decision to work with Club Car was the company’s commitment to providing the best service to both members and guest.

Alasdair Robertson, director of golf, explained how important Club Car’s heritage was when choosing their golf car and utility supplier. “We pride ourselves on delivering a superior experience for both our members and guests and it is therefore paramount that we choose partners that reflect the same high standards that we set for ourselves,” he said.

Tony Swinnerton, Club Car’s UK account manager, commented, “Club Car is honoured and delighted to have a Preferred Supplier Agreement with The London Golf Club and we look forward to being part of the Club’s growth in years to come.”
