Largest golf resort in Europe chooses E-Z-GO

8.36am 4th September 2008 - Corporate

The biggest golf resort in Europe, which also features the largest golf school in the world, has chosen the new E-Z-GO RXV as its preferred golf car.

The Hartl Golf Resort, Bad Griesbach in Bavaria has taken delivery of a fleet of 90 electric golf cars from Duchell, the E-Z-GO distributor for Germany.

The resort features six 18-hole championship courses, three of which were designed by Bernhard Langer, three 9-hole courses and a 6-hole course for juniors. It also has the largest golfing academy in the world, the Golfodrom, with an impressive 37 teaching professionals at one venue.

Hermann Freudenstein of the Hartl Golf Resort commented, “The philosophy here at the resort is to provide our customers with a quality experience and the new RXV golf car fits well with this. Our guests like the regenerative braking and the way the car automatically applies the brakes, when it stops.

“This means that they can get out of the car on an incline without actually putting on the brake. When the car takes off again, there’s no rollback either. The overall driving experience of this new car is excellent.”

Duco van Oosterhout, managing director of Duchell added, “We are delighted to be the resort’s preferred supplier of golf cars and look forward to a long and successful business partnership.”
